WIDOWS SMILE 2.0 OUTREACH – Bringing Hope to Jiwa Community

In January 2024, the Nikki Udezue Foundation carried out the second edition of its impactful outreach program "Widows Smile 2.0"  in the heart of Jiwa community, Abuja.

This initiative was designed to bring tangible relief and emotional support to widows, a group often overlooked and underserved. Through this outreach, dozens of widows in the community received essential supplies, including food items, hygiene products, and financial assistance to help ease their daily burdens.

The atmosphere was one of gratitude, joy, and renewed hope as the women expressed deep appreciation for the gesture. Many shared their stories and challenges, while also highlighting how much this intervention meant to them.

The Widows Smile Outreach is part of NUF’s broader mission to empower vulnerable groups and ensure that no one is left behind in the fight against poverty, exclusion, and hardship.

Widows Smile 2.0 not only provided material aid but also served as a moment of connection and encouragement, reminding each woman that she is seen, valued, and supported.
