Touching lives differently...
Highlights from the Future Invest 1.0 project outreach. Which was implemented at the IDP Camp in Durumi community of Abuja, Nigeria.
A baseline survey conducted to public schools within this community revealed that 50 percent of the children from the community are disadvantaged. 22.7 percent of these number are Orphans while 27.3 are vulnerable due to acute poverty and other forms of disability, putting the education of the children under jeopardy.
Nothing but Joy flowed when we heard from the Coordinator of the Durumi IDP Camp, Mallam Idris, at the recently conducted NUF FUTURE INVEST 1.0 OUTREACH.
He spoke so fluently and passionately about his experience with Nikki Udezue Foundation. We are touched to hear such kind and encouraging words, that truly reflects the way the children felt about the new hope they received.
