The plight of widows and single mothers are not brought to the fore, in many circumstances. Mostly due to the gender discrimination found in the Northen region of Nigeria, which makes it imperative to provide intervention. We are of the opinion that when women are empowererd, the Nation grows. Raising the status of women can be achieved through education, awareness, literacy, and training. Women empowerment is all about equipping and allowing them to make life-advancing decisions that help navigate through the challenges in society.
